Kathy Moran sent the following message about her husband, Michael. Please pray for this good man. "Just wanted to let you know after Michael's long battle and over 38 surgeries he had to have his leg amputated Monday in Cleveland clinic. I am sitting here at the clinic now waiting for him to get out of another surgery to either finish up the procedure or to take more of the leg because of infection. Prayers would really help!"
Please pray for Jay Hartman. He has been diagnosed with a serious stage of prostate cancer and has recently been having a difficult time with loss. Thanks so much.
The original Prayer Page was started about ten years ago because of a suggestion by Hibernian Brother, Jim Goebel. Please pray for these special intentions sent in by Jim. God bless
Please add my son-in-law, Michael Skelton to our prayer page? He is having a CAT scan Tuesday to find out the cause of the pain in his side and constant vomiting. Please add AOH prayers for my daughter, Danielle, who has some cysts in her abdomen which they biopsied this week.
Patrick McLaughlin is in rehab at the hospital. Learning to walk and steps to be self-sufficient. I never knew how hard it would be just to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I am in extreme pain from the surgery, which originally was supposed to take 2 hours, but took nearly 4 hours. I am showing signs of getting stronger. Thanks for your continues support, friendship, brotherhood and prayers.
Please pray for Mike Moran, who had another surgery on Monday.
Mike is a great Irishman, who has had a few difficult years health wise.
Pray that he will have the strength to recover from this latest one.
Please pray for the two Toledo firefighters, who lost their lives today (Sunday) in the line of duty fighting a fire at a apartment complex in North Toledo. The names have not been released at this time. Please pray for their families and for their fellow firefighters. They are all heroes, putting their life on the line to protect each of us. God bless.
“Go dtuga Dia fáilte a chur roimh tú le arm a oscailt agus leighis a sheoladh chuig leo siúd a chailleann tú.”
May God welcome you with open arms and send healing to those who will miss you.

I received a link to an article about Heather Abrighach from a good friend in Florida (See below). She asked for prayers for Heather and her family because she had died at age 41 after a short illness. The article is from a few months back from Lourdes University. The obituary is in today's Blade (Wed. 1-22-14). Please pray for Heather, her family and friends. Heather accomplished much and was a remarkable lady during her short life. Please pray for her soul and for her family. She leaves behind a husband, two young daughters, her mother and many aunts, uncles ad cousins. Her Great Aunt Betty Mears is a long time very active Toledo Hibernian. Rest in Peace.
Please pray for Hibernian, Patrick McLaughlin, who is in Firelands Regional Medical Center for tests and preparation for back surgery that will take place on Monday. My age, arthritis and an injury I received from a fall I had August 30, 2013 at an Irish Hurling has me crippled in both legs from waist down. The Neurosurgeon will be removing bone spurs on my lower neck and arthritis in my upper thorax of my back vertebrae that are pressing against my spinal chord. God's Will will be done whatever the outcome. I am a faithful man and I will follow His lead for the remainder of my journey
Please pray for Paul McMahon, AOH Franklin County Division 2, Columbus Ohio. He is in a Transplant Program at The Cleveland Clinic, awaiting Pre-Transplant Testing. This Pre-Transplant Testing is scheduled for the last week of February. On a personal note, I work with a gentleman, who had his transplant over sixteen years ago. Pray for the same results for Paul.
